My dog show roots.......

I was introduced to the world of dogs and dog shows at a very early age. My late grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.N. Simpson were not only top GSD breeders and exhibitors, they were both respected AKC judges as well. They were the owners/breeders of Rienzucht's Kennel. My mother also did some junior handling as a teen.

I (adorable baby on left) have always adored animals while my twin sister (crying baby on right), is still not too crazy about them. Here we are at one of my very first shows with one of our many protective "nannies". This lovely lady is Ch. Reinzucht's Nic Nac

They had 25 homebred champions including multiple Group and Specialty winners. This was also back BEFORE there was a "herding" group and the now herding group breeds were included in a very large working group. There also weren't as many shows as nowadays and they had to travel much farther for shows.
